Hi, I’m Helgie. I’m 38 years old and I’ve been married for a long time. I have three wonderful kids. I’ve worked as a domestic helper for 12 years now, including 4 years in Qatar. I've been with my first employer here in Hong Kong for 6 years. My tasks include cleaning, taking care of two children, doing laundry, and ironing clothes. I also bring the kids to school and their activities. Unfortunately, with my second employer, I had to leave after just 7 months because we didn’t match on housework. Currently, I’m with my third employer, but my contract ends on December 15. I’ve decided not to renew since it’s quite chaotic here, there are 5 housekeepers. I really prefer working with just one housekeeper so I can have a peaceful environment. Right now, I'm looking after a 9-year-old kid and keeping her things organized.
