1. I take care of elderly people. I worked as a caretaker for a 95-year-old lady named Ahma, who couldn’t walk and used a wheelchair. I cooked meals for both of us. I was with her for a year and seven months, but I had to leave because Ahma had some mental health issues and would sometimes get very upset. Eventually, her family decided to move her to a nursing home.
2. For my second experience, I looked after a 12-year-old girl and also helped a sick male employer with his medication. My tasks included cleaning, cooking, and taking care of their cats. Unfortunately, I only lasted five months there because I wasn’t given enough food, and my employer had received warnings from the Ministry of Manpower. That’s when I decided to ask for a transfer.
3. Lastly, I looked after a 2-year-old child while managing all the household chores and cooking. I worked there for eight months, but I got sick, and my employer wasn't understanding about it. He asked me to return to the agency. Instead, I requested to go back to Indonesia for treatment and to take some time to rest. Now that I’m feeling better, I’m ready to work again.
