American family in Wan Chai looking for a Second Helper ASAP

We are looking for someone who can start immediately. Will be interviewing on an ongoing basis until we find the right person. 

Applicant must already be living in Hong Kong and have a CURRENT CONTRACT ENDING IN SEP/OCT 2022.

Please apply if: 1) you live in HK now, 2) your CURRENT CONTRACR ENDS IN SEP/OCT 2022, and 3) you never had a broken contract in your work history nor are you planning to break your current contract. 

We are an American family of four living in Hong Kong for two years. We have a 2.5 year old daughter and a newborn son who will need full time care while both parents work. 

We are lookong for a second helper to help with household chores, cleaning, and taking care of the children. We will be in Hong Kong for one more year.

Looking for a helper who is experienced and loves taking care of children. Must be proactive in finding educational and fun activities to do with them. Must be a team player and able to live with and work with another full time helper. 

Helper must be able to take initiative and still able to work with others while doing cooking, housework, and other errands as needed. Must be self motivated and able to independently troubleshoot problems. Experience working in Hong Kong, and strong familiarity with the island a plus. 

Helper will share a bedroom with its own en suite bathroom and shower with another full time helper.

MUST HAVE A CONTRACT ENDING IN SEP/OCT 2022. If your contract does not end during that time, your application will not be considered. 

At least 5 years of experience taking care of 0-3 year olds. 

Must be able to provide referrals from previous employers. 

Must speak English well. Mandarin or Cantonese Chinese a plus.

High school degree needed.  College degree in primary education, nursing, or other fields relevant to early childcare a plus but not necessary.
