American Single Mom looking for Live-in in Discovery Bay

American, 52, who has lived in Hong Kong for 18 years.  Travels to USA for summer holidays.

I am a Single Mom, with a 3 yr old boy, 16 month old girl, and a big fat cat. (no dogs)We live in Discovery Bay. I am looking for a live in helper. There is a separate helper space.  I work from home 1 day a week, the other days I work on Hong Kong Island.

 

The duties would be:

6:30am  - start work

Cook simple breakfast for me and kids

Pack simple healthy lunch for 3 yr old son and me

Drop off 3 yr old son at school by 8:45am / Pick up at 3:30pm

Look after 16 month old during the day, scheudle play dates, host playdates, attend activities.

Bath time- kids bathe together and love bath time

Put to bed by 7:30pm. When i am home from work in time, I will put kids to bed. 

I will take care of the kids when they wake up in the middle of the night, or bring them into my room to sleep if needed.

 

Household duties:

Grocery shop - and manage food in pantry so that we don't run out of the basics such as eggs, bread, milk

Cooking

Laundry- we have a washer and dryer.  Almost zero ironing needed: 1-2 items per week.

Cleaning / cleaning of kitty litters

 Dinner time - I would like the helper to join us in family meals at the dinner table.

We live in Discovery Bay where there aren't any cars and take buses everywhere.  Very social community with lots of available daily play dates with other helpers.

Looking for someone very kind, loves to be around toddlers, and likes to read to my kids. Someone who can become a long term part of our family and evolve and grow into managing the household for me. 

Childcare is the primary role.

I love to cook and bake, and there is always a fridge full of food. We are all about food in our family, and the helper will share our food and free to cook or use anything in the fridge at any time, or add anything to our grocery runs if you prefer to eat different type of food.

Looking for someone organized that can batch cook ahead of time (for my lunches or dinners) and store in the freezer to make meal time easier for everyone.
