Hiring 3rd Helper – Newborn Care Focus

We are a Chinese family of 2 adults with one toddler, living in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong Island, and we are expecting our second baby to be born. We already have 2 Filipino helpers at home, with a clear and fair division of work. One helper mainly handles cooking and household chores, while another mainly cares for our toddler.

We are now looking for a 3rd helper to join our family, with an intended start date of 1 September 2026, mainly to care for our newborn baby.

This role is focused on newborn care. No Hong Kong experience is needed. We are looking for someone who has given birth before and has real hands-on experience caring for her own newborn baby.

Main Duties

• Taking care of our newborn baby full-time
• Feeding, burping, diaper changing, putting baby to sleep, bathing, and general baby hygiene
• Handling night feeds and night-time baby care
• Washing baby bottles, cleaning baby items, and keeping the baby’s area clean and organized
• Working well with the other 2 helpers in the household
• Helping with light household tasks only when baby duties allow
• No grocery shopping or wet market shopping needed

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced with newborn care from birth
• Comfortable with night feeds and broken sleep
• Energetic, physically fit, and able to handle night waking
• Patient, gentle, clean, responsible, and attentive with babies
• Able to communicate in English; Mandarin is a plus
• Comfortable working in a multi-helper household, willing to share room with coworker if needed
