British Chinese Family (2 kids & cat) Looking for 2 Helpers

Our family is made up of a mixed couple (Hong Kong Chinese husband & British wife) with two children (8 and 4 years old) and a cat, living in central Mid-Levels. The home is an apartment with 5 bedrooms, two of which are used as an office and playroom respectively.We are looking for two female domestic helpers, either previously having worked together or two experienced individuals looking to work with another colleague, to join our household. The full household team will consist of two foreign domestic helpers and one local driver.

 

Job Responsibilities

1. Caring for the children:

• Prepare breakfast of their choice each morning
• Help them get ready for school
• School drop off and pick up as required
• Prepare and take them to after-school activities as required
• Help them with evening bath time and bedtime routine
• Childminding duties on some evenings when the parents have dinner commitments

2. Caring for the cat:

• Feed him once a day
• Clear out and clean his litter trays as necessary
• Play with him at regular intervals during the day as necessary
• Keep him company in the living room in the evenings if the adults have dinner commitments

3. General Housekeeping, including but not limited to:

• Clean all 5 bathrooms every day
• Make up the bed each morning in all 3 bedrooms
• Regular change of sheets, bedding, duvet covers etc.
• Turn down all beds and draw curtains each evening
• Vacuum clean, sweep and mop throughout the home daily
• Deep clean sofas regularly
• Maintain a high level of tidiness throughout the house
• Other housekeeping tasks deemed necessary by the employers as required

4. Cooking:

• Must be proficient in cooking general Chinese and Western food, and able to accurately follow recipes provided 
• Prepare breakfast for all members of the family
• Prepare packed lunch to take to school
• Prepare lunch and dinner for members of the family as required

5. Groceries shoppingAccommodation: individual private air-conditioned bedrooms and shared bathroom.
