British Family! One newborn, own room. No pets, no elderly.

We are a family of three: my wife, myself, and our first baby, due January 2027. We are looking for one helper to join us long term, and our priority is someone who genuinely likes newborns and has done this before.

About us. British/Hong Kong husband (working), Turkish wife. Living in a flat on Hong Kong Island. No pets, no elderly care, no other children.

The job. Care of one baby — feed prep, sterilising, bathing, nappies, baby laundry, settling — plus normal cooking and housework for two adults. That is the whole job. We are not looking for a nurse, and we are not running a big household.

Who we're hoping to hear from. Genuine newborn experience — please tell us the actual ages of the babies you looked after, not just "childcare." Good spoken English. Contactable references from your last employer, which we will call. You are welcome to call our references too — we'll give you the number of my parents' helper, who has know me for years.

Timing. Our baby is born in London in January and we are back in Hong Kong in March 2027. We'd like to meet in person, not by video, and we're happy to wait for the right person.
