British/HK couple looking for domestic helper Jan 2027

We are a friendly British/Hong Kong couple living in a spacious 3-bedroom home in Pok Fu Lam along with our one friendly British short hair cat. Our family currently includes our 18-month-old toddler girl, and we are expecting our second baby in January 2027.

We currently employ a wonderful, super-friendly, and happy 36-year-old Filipina helper who previously worked in Taiwan for 7 years and speaks a little Mandarin. We are looking for someone with a similar background so that our two helpers can get along harmoniously and work well as a team.

About Our Household: We are easy-going, understanding employers who value mutual respect and teamwork. We are committed to not overloading our helpers which is exactly why we are expanding our team to two helpers to ensure a balanced workload and proper rest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Baby & Childcare: Assisting primarily with our newborn (arriving Jan 2027) and our toddler girl alongside our current helper.
• General Household Duties: Housekeeping, cooking, marketing, and laundry shared fairly between the two helpers.
• Pet Care: Comfortable feeding and helping care for our cat.
• Car Upkeep: Assisting with basic car cleaning/washing as part of household maintenance.
• Teamwork: Working collaboratively and cooperatively with our current helper.

Candidate Requirements:

• Nationality / Background: Filipino nationality preferred. Experience working in Taiwan or familiarity with Mandarin is a big plus (though not mandatory).
• Profile: Ideally married or already have children, in your early 30s.
• Personal Traits: Honest, kind, sensible, patient, cheerful, and pet-friendly.
• Language: Good command of spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is welcome.
• Experience: Proven experience in infant and toddler care, plus solid household management skills.

Accommodation & Terms:

• Location: Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong
• Accommodation: Shared helper room with your own bed, private toilet, and a shared balcony (you will share this room with our current helper).
• Day Off: To be discussed and arranged in coordination with our current helper.
• Salary: Hong Kong Statutory Minimum Wage to start, with performance-based salary increases over time.
• Meals: Food provided
