Childcare Helper (Live-in) – Infant Care (Repulse Bay)

We are a warm and respectful family relocating to Hong Kong in May and are looking for a live-in childcare helper to join our household.

Family Background • Two working parents • Two children: 2-year-old girl and 5-month-old baby boy • Grandparents rotate every few months to support the family • We live in Repulse Bay in a 4-bedroom apartment

We will also have a separate household helper responsible for housekeeping, so this role will focus primarily on childcare.

Main Responsibilities • Primary care for our baby boy (infant care) • Bottle preparation and feeding • Maintaining baby routines (sleep schedule, feeding schedule) • Preparing baby food and supporting babies starting solid foods • Maintaining baby hygiene and organizing baby items • Stroller walks and outdoor time • Occasionally assisting with toddler care when needed

Our daughter attends school daily, and grandparents usually help with school drop-off and pick-up.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who: • Has real experience caring for infants or young babies • Understands infant safety and hygiene • Is patient, calm, and gentle with children • Is responsible and able to follow routines • Is respectful and comfortable working with grandparents • Maintains excellent personal hygiene

We follow structured routines for feeding, sleep, and childcare, and we expect the helper to follow parents’ guidance and routines. • Basic English is required • Mandarin or basic Chinese communication is a plus

Additional Information • The helper will share a helper room with one other helper • This role focuses primarily on childcare and baby-related tasks

Salary • HKD 6,000–8,000 depending on experience

Preferred Candidates • Finished contract in Hong Kong • Experience caring for infants • Positive references from previous employers
