About Our Family
We are a warm, respectful family of two adults and a sweet 4-month-old baby girl living in a spacious home in Wong Chuk Hang (conveniently located near the MTR). We believe in treating our helpers with kindness and dignity, as valued members of our household.
We are a two-helper household. Our first helper primarily focuses on the dogs and heavy housework. We are now looking for a second helper who is passionate about childcare and is a proactive, flexible team player.
The Role: Baby Care & Household Support
Your primary focus is our daughter’s well-being and development. We are looking for someone with a "can-do" attitude who sees what needs to be done and is happy to help.
- Infant Care: Full responsibility for our baby girl, including feeding, hygiene, laundry, going for walks, attending playgroups, and sensory play.
- Baby Food: Preparing fresh, healthy meals and purees as she transitions to solids.
- Night Care: You will have your own private room for your belongings/rest, but you are expected to sleep in the baby’s room to attend to her at night until she is older.
- Shared Housework: While the baby is napping, you will assist with light housework (laundry, tidying, light cleaning) to keep the home organized.
- Dog Friendly: We have three friendly dogs. While they are the primary responsibility of our first helper, you must be comfortable with dogs and happy to provide light care (refilling water/feeding) when the other helper is busy.
- Sunday Support: Because our other helper is off on Sundays, you will be the primary support for the family on that day.
Schedule & Day Off
- Flexible Day Off: Since we require coverage on Sundays, your day off will be a weekday or Saturday. We are happy to discuss which day works best for your schedule.
Who We Are Looking For
- Proven experience with infants (newborn to 1 year) and a genuine love for babies.
- Someone who truly likes dogs and is comfortable in a multi-pet home.
- A strong communicator who works harmoniously with another helper.
