Chinese Family looking for domestic helper

Greetings!

My name is Stacey, and I am a proud mother of two wonderful children: a lively 7-year-old boy and a sweet newborn baby girl. I am currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Filipino domestic helper to assist in caring for my daughter.

 

Our loving family consists of my husband, our two children, my mother, and myself. We are fortunate to have a Filipino helper who currently assists us with our eldest son. We reside in a spacious, 1,500 square foot, 3-bedroom house in Mid Levels, Hong Kong. The existing helper is responsible for various tasks, including household chores, laundry, ironing, cooking three meals daily, and accompanying our son to school and extracurricular activities.

We are looking for a candidate to take care of our newborn baby girl. The job responsibilities will include:

• Providing constant supervision and ensuring a safe environment.
• Feeding (preparing bottles, sterilizing equipment) and burping the baby.
• Changing diapers and maintaining proper infant hygiene.
• Bathing, dressing, and comforting the baby.
• Cooking for the baby.
• Establishing and maintaining a healthy sleep routine and schedule.
• Keeping the nursery and all baby-related areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Laundering the baby's clothes and bedding.
• Monitoring the baby's well-being and alerting us to any concerns.

When not occupied with the baby, we will also need your assistance with:

• Light Housekeeping: General cleaning to maintain a tidy home (e.g., mopping, dusting, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom).
• Meal Preparation: Cooking simple, nutritious meals for the adults (cooking for the baby is included in your primary duties).
• Grocery Shopping: Picking up groceries and household essentials as needed.

Accommodation: You will have your own private space in our guest room, which you will share with the baby. The room will be furnished with a crib and all necessary items for the baby's care.

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications:

• Experience in caring for infants (2 months and older).
• A strong work ethic with a willingness to sleep alongside our daughter at night.
• A genuine love for babies and a passion for playing and teaching small children.
• Maintains a neat and clean environment with a high level of responsibility.
• Open to collaborating and sharing duties with fellow helpers.
• Flexible regarding off days, as the candidate will need to take turns having Sundays off.
• Willing to share a bedroom with the children or other helpers.
• Availability to start between mid to late January 2026.
