Chinese family looking for experienced domestic helper

A warm, busy Chinese family is looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and experienced domestic helper to join our household. You will work alongside an existing co-worker to maintain a well-run home, support our children’s daily routines, and prepare meals.

Because you will be working alongside another helper and sharing a private helper room, we place a strong emphasis on hiring someone who is accommodating, cooperative, and a positive team player.

Key Responsibilities 1. Childcare & School Logistics

• Escort children safely to and from school and scheduled after-school extracurricular activities.

• Supervise afternoon routines, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

2. Cooking & Meal Preparation

• Strong interest in cooking. Plan, prepare, and cook daily meals for the family (Chinese / Asian cuisine preferred; Western dishes a plus).

• Handle grocery shopping (wet market and supermarket) and maintain a clean, organized kitchen and pantry.

3. Housekeeping & Household Maintenance

• Share daily housekeeping duties with the co-worker.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience working in Hong Kong. Reference letters are a plus.

• Childcare Skills: Patient, attentive, and confident in managing children’s travel and schedules.

• Cooking Passion: Strong interest, background, and proven skills in home cooking.

• Team Player Mindset: Flexible, accommodating, respectful, and able to work harmoniously with a co-worker.

• Living Arrangement: Comfortable sharing a private helper room with your co-worker.

• Communication: Good command of spoken English (Cantonese/Mandarin is an added advantage).

• Personality: Honest, punctual, organized, proactive and kind.
