Chinese family of 3 looking for a full-time domestic helper

About the Household:

We are a family of four, with two adults and two children. One child is studying abroad, so currently our household consists of two adults and one active 7-year-old child. We also have one friendly cat. Our home is a spacious 3-bedroom apartment in a quiet and pleasant area on the South Island side of Hong Kong, with private ensuite helper room.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Cleaning: Thorough, detailed, and meticulous daily cleaning of the entire apartment. We are looking for someone who is very pedantic (detail-oriented and precise) about cleaning standards, ensuring every corner of the home is spotless, tidy, and well-organized.

· Laundry & Ironing: Handling laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management for the family.

· Cooking: Preparing daily meals for the family. Must be proficient in cooking Chinese and/or Western cuisine. Ability to prepare nutritious lunches and dinners, and occasionally pack a lunchbox for the child.

· Childcare: Supervising and caring for our 7-year-old child. Duties include preparing the child for school, light assistance with activities, and ensuring their general well-being and safety.

· Pet Care: Basic care for our cat, including feeding and cleaning its sand box

· Other Errands: Grocery shopping and other household errands as needed.

Requirements:

· Age Preference: 30 to 35 years old.

· Family Status: Preferably married or separated, with less than 2 children.

· Experience: 5 to 10 years of solid, verifiable experience as a domestic helper, specifically with Asian families.

· Skills: Proven experience in detailed housekeeping, childcare (especially primary school age), and cooking both Chinese and Western food.

· Attributes: Extremely honest, reliable, proactive, and with a genuine passion for maintaining an impeccably clean home. Must be patient, kind, and good with children and pets.

· Language: Good conversational English is required. Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.

· References: Must provide at least 2 verifiable references from previous employers.
