Domestic Helper: Caring for Toddler & Newborn in Mei Foo

Our family in Mei Foo, with a joyful toddler and a newborn arriving soon, is seeking a trustworthy and responsible helper to grow with us long-term.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY

• Family Members: A Hong Kongese working couple with a 2-year-old child, expecting a new baby in March 2026
• Location: Mei Foo, Kowloon, Hong Kong
• Languages Spoken: Cantonese and English
• Household: 650 sq. ft. Non-smoking. No pets.
• Support: Grandparents live nearby and will primarily assist with toddler care during the daytime after the mother's maternity leave
• Religion: Catholic

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Housekeeping: general household duties, including cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc.
• Childcare:
  • Primary focus on our new-born
  • Feeding, bathing, playing, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
  • Occasional support with the toddler
• Food preparation: Simple cooking, including daily meals and packed lunches.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Must-Haves:

• Completed secondary school or higher education
• Experience and skill in caring for young children and infants, with a warm and nurturing approach
• Speaks and understands English well for daily communication
• Patient, responsible, and trustworthy with household routines
• Kind and positive attitude toward the family

Nice-to-Haves:

• Verifiable references from previous employers
• Valid certification in infant care, childcare training, or first aid
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic to intermediate cooking skills
• Christian or Catholic faith background
