Job Description
A Chinese family of four with one elderly (my mom), one teen (my daughter - 11 years old), one helper and myself as a madam. I am seeking an additional domestic helper to live with us and assist my mother, who lives with us and requires regular doctor visits and walking assistance.
Main duties:
- Look after my mother: accompany to doctor appointments, assist with mobility and walking, monitor health needs, administer medications as directed, and report any health concerns.
- Daily living support: help with grooming and personal care; ensure safety at home; light housekeeping as needed.
- Cooking for the elderly and family: prepare meals suitable for my mother and the family; manage dietary restrictions if any.
- Household duties: share responsibilities with the existing helper, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and dishwashing etc.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with elderly care or disability support; patience and respect for seniors.
- Ability to assist with walking and basic mobility; familiar with risk prevention and fall safety.
- Ability to cook well, especially meals suitable for elderly and family.
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Good communication skills, proactive, and able to work well in a two-helper household.
- High level of hygiene and basic first aid knowledge is a plus.
