Domestic Helper Wanted – Caring, Reliable & Detail-Oriented

We are an American–Chinese household of two working adults, two school-aged children (6 and 9), and elderly parents living with us. We are seeking a full-time, responsible, proactive, and trustworthy domestic helper to join our family on a long-term basis. We offer a respectful, stable home with clear expectations and open communication.

Main duties

• Daily household cleaning, tidying, and general housework
• Cooking simple family meals—primarily Chinese, with willingness to learn; ability to prepare Western dishes is a plus
• Laundry and ironing
• Morning routines for the children (punctual, organized, and time-sensitive)
• Grocery shopping, market errands, and other household errands as needed
• Basic car washing and light vehicle care
• Basic mending and sewing

Skills and experience

• Fluent or conversational English and/or Mandarin
• Child care experience and comfort working with both children and elderly family members
• Strong housekeeping and cooking skills (Asian and Western cuisines preferred)
• Experience with groceries, market shopping, and running household errands
• Ability to perform car wash and basic sewing/repair tasks
• Previous experience working with families; references preferred
