Experienced Elderly Care Helper Wanted

We are a Hong Kong family looking for an experienced domestic helper to care for an elderly gentleman in his 80s.

He can usually walk independently but sometimes needs supervision, reminders and support.

We are looking for someone who:

• Can communicate comfortably in either Cantonese or Mandarin (both equally welcome)

• Has genuine hands-on elderly-care experience

• Is patient, responsible, calm and attentive

• Is physically capable of assisting with walking and daily personal care

• Can respond calmly when an elderly person becomes confused

Main duties:

• Bathing and daily personal care

• Reminders and guidance with daily routines

• Accompanying and supporting him outdoors

• General housekeeping, cooking and grocery shopping

Previous elderly-care experience in Hong Kong or Taiwan is highly preferred, but relevant experience elsewhere is also welcome. All nationalities are welcome.

Finished contract preferred. Termination due to employer relocation or financial reasons will also be considered. Previous employer references are a plus.
