Expat couple with newborn seek full-time domestic helper

About Us

We are Jamie and Alicia, a British/Spanish couple with a newborn son, living in Happy Valley. We are looking for a helper to look after our baby during the day and perform some basic household chores.

We are a teaching couple working in an International school and have been living in HK for nearly 7 years. We are a friendly and relaxed couple and what we value most is creating a happy and playful environment for our child. We would like a helper who values this too. 

Parenthood is going to be a learning curve for us, so we are looking for someone with experience to help us on the way, and someone who is able to learn with us. 

Start date: Around May

The baby is due on July 30th.

What we need

The basic requirements are:

• Experience with babies and strong English. 
• Our preference would be live-out.
• Working hours would generally be 7am to 7pm Mon-Fri, and Saturday morning/afternoon (we are willing to be flexible).
• Primary role would be caring for the baby and performing household chores such as cleaning and washing. Secondary to this we would need help shopping and cooking.

Essential Skills/Duties

• Childcare: feeding, changing nappies, keeping to a defined routine, washing bottles etc. Must love babies!
• Household: washing baby’s clothes, washing general clothes, cleaning and dusting, occasional shopping and cooking (western food desirable but not essential).
