Foreign family looking for child care helper

**Location:** Hong Kong **Employment Type:** Full-time **Salary:** Negotiable **Start Date:** November 1, 2025   **Job Description:** We are an English speaking family in search of a **compassionate, responsible, and experienced Domestic Helper** who will primarily assist with **baby and child care**, along with light household duties.  The ideal candidate should exhibit patience, warmth, and a strong understanding of child safety and development.   **Primary Responsibilities (Childcare Focus):** **Complete care for babies/children**, including feeding, bathing, diaper changing, and dressing. **Supervision during playtime** and engagement in age-appropriate activities, such as reading and educational games. **Meal preparation** for the child, including baby food, snacks, and balanced meals. **Maintaining the child's routine**, including naptime, bedtime, and school schedule. **Ensuring a safe and clean environment** for the child through childproofing and sanitizing toys.   **Secondary Responsibilities (Light Housekeeping):** Basic meal preparation for the family. Light household chores.   **Requirements:** **Proven experience in baby/childcare** with references required from former employers. **Knowledge of child safety, hygiene, and basic first aid.** **A patient, warm, and nurturing attitude** towards children. **Ability to follow parents’ instructions** concerning the child's routine, diet, and discipline. **Trustworthiness and responsibility.** **Good communication skills in English.** **Physically fit** to lift and carry children and actively engage in play. **Basic skills in housekeeping and meal preparation.**   **Working Conditions & Benefits:** Day off: Saturday and Sunday.
