1. Child Care for 4-Year-Old Child (Top Priority)
• Be responsible for the daily care of the 4-year-old child, including waking up the child, preparing and assisting with breakfast, dressing the child, and safely escorting the child to and from kindergarten every school day.
• Take charge of the child's daily routine: arranging nap time, assisting with bathing, grooming, and ensuring the child's personal hygiene.
• Read English picture books to the child every night before bed, conduct simple English interactive communication to cultivate the child's English listening and speaking habits.
• On weekends, provide full-time interactive companionship for the child, including playing games, reading, doing simple handicrafts, and engaging in age-appropriate outdoor activities to ensure the child's safety and happiness at all times.
• Pay close attention to the child's physical and emotional state, and timely communicate the child's situation with the employer.
2. Housekeeping Work
• Perform daily household chores, including cleaning all rooms, mopping floors, dusting, tidying up furniture, organizing toys and children's supplies, and keeping the home clean, tidy and orderly.
• Do laundry, iron clothes, fold and arrange clothes and daily necessities for the whole family in a standardized manner.
• Responsible for kitchen cleaning, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, range hoods and kitchen appliances, and maintaining kitchen hygiene.
3. Cooking
• Prepare three meals a day for the family, mainly simple and healthy Chinese and Western meals; cook meals that suit the family's taste, especially prepare nutritious and easy-to-digest meals and snacks for the 4-year-old child.
• Purchase daily groceries and ingredients as required by the employer, keep accounts clearly if needed, and ensure the freshness and hygiene of ingredients.
• Keep the cooking area clean and tidy, and do a good job in food storage.
4. Other Assigned Tasks
• Occasionally accompany the employer and the child to travel between Hong Kong and Chinese mainland, cooperate with the travel arrangements, and take good care of the child during the journey.
• Complete other reasonable household and child care tasks assigned by the employer.
Job Requirements
1. Nationality: Filipino, with valid legal work documents for working in Hong Kong, complete and valid work visa and relevant certificates.
2. Language Proficiency: Fluent in oral English, able to communicate with the employer and read English picture books to the child fluently; basic Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
3. Work Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as a domestic helper in Hong Kong, proven experience in taking care of young children aged 3-6 years old is essential; familiar with Hong Kong's living habits and child care norms.
4. Personal Qualities: Patient, gentle, caring and responsible, especially fond of children, with strong child safety awareness; honest, hardworking, proactive and able to work independently.
5. Skills: Proficient in various household chores, skilled in cooking simple Chinese and Western meals; careful and organized, with good living habits.
6. Health Condition: In good health, with a valid health certificate, no infectious diseases, and able to bear daily child care and housework.
7. Other: No bad habits, able to adapt to live-in work, get along well with the employer's family, and obey reasonable work arrangements.
Work Rest & Benefits
• Follow the Hong Kong labor regulations for domestic helpers, provide reasonable rest time, and arrange rest days in consultation with the employer (usually 1 day off per week, public holidays can be arranged for compensatory leave or additional allowance as per negotiation).
• Provide free accommodation, basic daily necessities, and meals; salary is negotiable based on experience and abilities, in line with Hong Kong's minimum wage standard for domestic helpers and higher for qualified candidates.
