Job Requirement

Job Description

Position:

Location: Tsing Yi, Hong Kong

Expected Start Date: July to August 2026 (exact date negotiable)

Primary Responsibilities (in order of priority):

1. Childcare – Primary care for a 2-year-old child · Responsible for the child's daily routine: feeding, bathing, changing diapers, napping schedule, playing, reading picture books, etc. · Sleeping with the child in the same bed at night (employer provides a bed with enough space) · Monitoring the child's health condition and promptly informing the employer of any abnormalities · Keeping the child's activity area, toys, and utensils clean and sanitized 2. Daily housekeeping – including three meals a day for the family · Cleaning the entire house (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen) · Washing, ironing, folding and storing clothes · Cooking: responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family (no need to prepare separate food for the child, the child eats with the family) · Flavor requirements: overall taste should be mild, less salt and oil, no need for complicated dishes · Waste management, replenishing daily necessities, etc. 3. Other · Assisting in purchasing daily groceries (if needed) · Adhering to the employer's family rules, including safety, privacy, device usage, etc.

Strictly Prohibited Conduct (Zero‑Tolerance Policy)

The employer does not accept any principled issues. In case of occurrence, immediate termination will take place and may report to the police or immigration:

· Unsafe behavior (e.g., administering medication to the child without permission, leaving the child alone at home, not using a safety seat, etc.)· Unethical behavior (lying, concealing important information, using the employer's property without permission, bringing strangers home)· Any violent behavior (corporal punishment, pushing, hitting, intimidating the child or family members)· Theft, misappropriation, or intentional damage to the employer's property· Historical or current loan sharking or illegal borrowing behaviors

Contract Completion Requirement (Important)

· Preference will be given to applicants who have completed their previous contract (finished contract).· If the previous contract was not completed (broken contract), the applicant must truthfully and clearly explain the reason(s) (e.g., family emergency, personality conflict with previous employer, dispute over work scope, health issue, etc.).· The employer will evaluate based on the reason provided, its plausibility, and the applicant’s overall work history.· Hiding a broken contract or providing false reasons will lead to immediate disqualification.

Employment Intention (Long-Term)

· We hope to employ an assistant who can work for at least 2 years, under reasonable negotiation and good communication between both parties.· If there is no plan to work for 2 years or more, please do not apply.

· Hardworking: proactive, not lazy, not procrastinating, willing to take on responsibilities.

Working Conditions & Benefits

Project DetailsAccommodation: Sharing a bed with the child (the employer provides the bed and bedding), with basic privacy spaceSalary: Not less than the statutory minimum wage (currently HK$5,100 per month, applicable to contracts signed before September 30, 2025)Meals: The employer provides free meals or a monthly meal allowance of HK$1,236 (one of the two options)Rest Days: At least 1 day off per week (usually Sunday, negotiable)Public Holidays: 15 days per year (including Easter Monday, according to the regulations for that year)Annual Leave: 7 days of paid annual leave after 12 months of service (increases thereafter according to the law)Insurance: The employer purchases labor insurance and provides basic medical insurance (or comprehensive domestic helper insurance)Transportation: The employer covers the airfare to Hong Kong and the return flight home after the contract ends

Requirements

· Filipino nationality, holding a valid passport · Practical experience in childcare (especially for ages 1-3) · Recommendation letter is not required, but the employer would like to allow a brief phone conversation with the previous employer (only to verify work performance and principled issues) · Willing to sleep with the child in the same bed and does not mind occasional wake-ups at night · Basic English communication skills · Caring, patient, responsible toward children, hardworking and clean · No history of loan sharking or illegal borrowing (must sign a declaration) · Holding valid overseas employment documentation or legal visa status for completed/uncompleted contract
