Gentle and Humble Full Time Helper for Western Mix family

We are a warm, Western-mixed family (expat background) living in Wan Chai district with two small children. We are looking for a gentle, humble, reliable, honest, and caring domestic helper to join our household as a valued member of the family. We value trust, respect, open communication, and a positive, supportive working environment.

We need a full-time live-in helper to help coordinate our busy household, assist with childcare, and keep our home running smoothly. The role involves a mix of household duties and caring for our young children in a loving, family-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Childcare for two small children (including playtime, supervision, basic educational activities, preparing meals/snack, arranging play dates and ensuring their safety and well-being)
• General housekeeping: cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, and maintaining a clean and organised home
• Grocery shopping and preparing simple, healthy family meals (Western and basic international cuisine preferred)
• Coordinating daily household routines and light errands
• Occasional family outings or travel assistance (if needed)

We emphasise teamwork and flexibility. Reasonable hours with adequate rest time and one rest day per week (as per Hong Kong regulations).

Requirements:

• Gentle, humble, honest, reliable, patient, and child-loving personality
• Experience with young children is highly preferred
• Good English communication skills (ability to speak basic Cantonese is a plus but not required)
• Non-smoker, tidy, proactive, and no tattoo in visible area
• Willing to become part of our family and work collaboratively
• Must be physically fit and have no financial debt or burden
• Must be eligible to work as a Foreign Domestic Helper in Hong Kong (following all Immigration Department rules)
