Helper - Hong kong family wth Toddler

A warm family of three living in Hong Kong (2 adults and 1 boy, 18 months old) with 3 adorable cats. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves children, is patient, and is interested in supporting our son’s learning and development every day.

Main responsibilities:

• Childcare as top priority
• Care for our 18‑month‑old boy during the day (safety, hygiene, daily routine).
• Engage him with age-appropriate developmental and educational activities (reading, singing, simple games, focus training, etc.)
• Follow and support a simple daily schedule (meals, playtime, nap, bath and bedtime routine)
• Read storybooks daily and interact with him during play (not just supervising). • Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the child (follow parents’ instructions and dietary preferences)
• Simple household chores (secondary to childcare)
• General cleaning of the flat, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment, with priority on child’s areas

Experience

• Previous experience in Hong Kong or overseas caring for babies / toddlers is preferred
• Experience in tutoring or educational play with young children (1–3 years old) is a strong advantage
• Good personality and attitude
• Very patient, gentle, and genuinely enjoys spending time with small children
• Responsible, honest, and able to follow instructions as well as work independently
• Clean, organised, and willing to keep a structured routine for the child
• Comfortable with cats and not afraid of animals (pets lover is a plus)

Skills

• Good spoken English
• Knows how to interact with toddlers in a positive, encouraging way
• Non‑smoker and in good health
