Helper Wanted | Warm Family with 2 Kids in Hong Kong

About UsWe are a warm, stable Chinese family of four living in the Hung Hom area, Kowloon. We have two children: a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old. We value respect, clear communication, and long-term relationships. We are looking for a reliable, experienced helper to join our family for the long haul. What You’ll Do

• Cook daily meals for the family (breakfast, dinner, and kids’ lunch boxes; Chinese and simple Western dishes)
• Handle grocery shopping and marketing
• General household cleaning, laundry, and tidying
• Read English storybooks to our children and engage them in simple English conversation
• Keep the household organized and running smoothly

What You Must Have

• Female, aged 30–45
• Fluent in English (must be comfortable reading English picture books aloud to young children)
• Excellent cooking skills with a genuine interest in food, with
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Must provide: a reference letter from your previous employer + availability for a reference call
• Seeking long-term, stable employment (finish contract or terminated due to relocation/financial reasons only)

What We’d Love (Advantages)

• University graduate or equivalent higher education
• Experience caring for young children or early childhood education exposure
• Previous experience working with Chinese families and basic understanding of Chinese cuisine

What We Offer

• Salary: HK$5,500 – 5800/month (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Food provided (meals with the family)
• Rest days and public holidays as per Hong Kong labour regulations

Accommodation

• You will have a private sleeping space in the kitchen with a window
• The area is approximately 2m x 1m and is not shared with anyone else
• Please note: this is a compact but private space in the kitchen; we want to be fully transparent about the living arrangement
