Work:
• Partner with the other helper to share daily care for the three children, with clear division of labor:
◦ 1-year-old infant: Assist with feeding (milk/formula + solid food preparation), diaper changing, bathing, napping/sleep training, and gentle sensory play; monitor safety at all times.
◦ 5-6-year-old children: Support morning routines (waking up, dressing, teeth brushing), meal assistance, homework supervision (basic literacy/numeracy), and accompany educational activities (storytelling, crafts, outdoor play).
◦ Collaborate to maintain children’s schedules (school drop-off/pick-up for 5-6-year-olds, nap times for the infant) and ensure consistent care standards.
2. Household Duties (Shared with Co-helper)
◦ Split household chores efficiently: Children’s laundry (washing, sanitizing, folding), cleaning of common areas (living room, children’s bedroom, dining area), and kitchen upkeep (dishwashing, wiping countertops).
◦ Meal preparation: Good cooking skill is needed as need to prepare lunchbox for the girls. Focus on children’s nutritious meals (baby food, kid-friendly dishes) and occasional family meals; collaborate on grocery shopping lists and pantry organisation.
◦ Maintain a tidy, safe home environment (e.g., childproofing, toy storage) to support the family’s daily life.
3. Flexible Support
◦ Cover for the co-helper during rest days or absences, and vice versa, to ensure uninterrupted childcare and household operations.
◦ Assist with family events (e.g., gatherings, short outings) as needed, following the parents’ guidance.
◦ Willing to adjust day-off, and get paid for working through holiday sometimes if host need
Requirements
• Experience: At least 1 year of professional childcare experience, preferably with infants (1-year-old) and young children; familiar with Hong Kong’s childcare practices is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient in child-related tasks (baby food preparation, sleep training); basic housekeeping skills; good in English (conversational level).
• Attitude: Patient, responsible, and passionate about children; self-motivated and fast learner. team-oriented with a willingness to co-work closely with another helper; respectful of family rules and privacy.
Working Terms
• Salary: HK$ 5,100 per month
• Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus (equivalent to 1 year salary) upon satisfactory work (attendance, care quality, teamwork).
