Hong Kong-Swedish family looking for 2nd helper

Hi,

We are a Hong Kong-Swedish family in our 30s. We have a 2-year-old boy and a 6-month-old daughter. We also have a wonderful, friendly Indonesian helper who has worked with us since Spring 2024. We are now looking for a second helper to share the work. We hope she can also bring positivity and warmth to our family.

We both work full-time in our home office, so we need someone to help with household chores, cooking, and caring for the kids. We are looking for someone who can communicate well in English (speaking Cantonese / Mandarin is a plus but not a must). We are looking for someone who is patient with kids and enjoys taking care of and playing with them. We want her to have a positive attitude and is an eager and quick learner. We expect you to be detail-minded and solution-oriented. We value honesty and kindness.

We prefer someone who has experience taking care of kids. She should also be good at cooking or search for new recipes to follow. She should also be good at housework like cleaning, laundry, ironing, etc. We are looking for a person who is a good team player and can work together with our current helper. We also expect her to take intiatives to do things, and want to improve.

You would be staying with us in a spacious, modern and bright apartment. As many other families with kids and helpers live in our apartment estate, you can expect to meet other helpers when bringing the kids to the playroom or when you go to playdates.

As accommodation, you will be sharing a room with our 2-year-old boy (and also our daughter when she is older). We are planning to have a third child in the future. We will always keep having two helpers at the same time, meaning you do not need to work alone.

We prefer someone who is planning to stay on this job long term, as we understand the importance of having the same people around our kids. If you are just interested in short term employment, we are not the right fit.

Regarding the time to start the job, you can start asap or in a few months from now. We are flexible. Please contact us if you have any questions.
