Chinese families looking for helper

We are a family of three in Hong Kong — a couple and our 5-year-old daughter. We have no pets and no dietary restrictions, and we enjoy a wide variety of cuisines. Hygiene is a core value in our home. We expect consistently high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, living spaces, and personal habits. We treat our helper with respect and fairness, and we hope to find someone who is honest, responsible, and genuinely passionate about her work.

Key Responsibilities

• Cooking (Top Priority) Cooking is the heart of this role — we want meals that are nutritious, varied, and genuinely delicious.
  • Prepare three meals a day plus healthy snacks for our 5-year-old
  • Cook a variety of cuisines: Cantonese home-style, Western, and simple Asian dishes
  • Plan balanced, child-friendly meals; shop for fresh, quality ingredients within budget
  • Keep the kitchen spotlessly clean at all times — countertops, stovetop, fridge, and utensils
  • Willingness to learn new recipes from cookbooks, YouTube, or family guidance
  Childcare
  • Care for our 5-year-old with patience and warmth; assist with her daily routine (morning prep, school drop-off/pick-up, bathing, bedtime)
  • Prepare hygienic meals and snacks; sanitise her personal items and utensils regularly
  • Engage her in age-appropriate activities: reading, drawing, and outdoor play
  Housekeeping
  • Daily cleaning: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and tidying all rooms
  • Regular disinfection of high-touch surfaces (door handles, switches, bathroom, dining area)
  • Laundry and ironing with hygienic separation of clothing types
  • Maintain a clean, odour-free, well-organised home as a daily habit
