Looking for a Foreign Domestic Helper (Start: August 2026)

Hello,

We are looking for a full-time foreign domestic helper to join our family starting in August 2026, to support us before and after childbirth, mainly with newborn care and household duties.

I am currently about 5 months pregnant, with an expected due date in late September 2026.

Main Duties

• Newborn care (feeding, diaper changing, bathing)
• General household work (cleaning, laundry, simple cooking)
• Cooking: Prefer someone who can cook Asian food

Night duty arrangement:

• During the first month after birth, both parents will be at home, and we will share responsibilities. No night duty required.
• From around the second month, there may be occasional night care, shared with the mother

Requirements

• Preferably Indonesian
• Experience with newborn care
• Able to communicate in English (Mandarin OK / basic Cantonese is OK)
• Age 30 or above preferred
• Someone who likes babies, and is responsible, patient, and reliable
• Religion is not a concern, but must be comfortable handling pork

Our Family

• 2 adults (international couple), expecting our first baby in late September 2026
• We are a friendly and respectful family
• Location: Shau Kei Wan
• Home: Apartment with 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and bathroom
• No elderly, no pets

Working Conditions

• Start date: Prefer August 2026 (to prepare before delivery)
• Accommodation: Share room with the baby. Parents will also take care of the baby at times.
• Day off: Sunday (statutory holidays)
• No car washing required
• Salary: According to market standard

Visa status

• Prefer candidates who have finished their contract or are currently overseas
• We are also open to candidates in Hong Kong with a valid reason for transfer

Reference

• Prefer candidates who can provide a reference from a previous employer for a phone interview
