Hello,

We are looking for a full-time foreign domestic helper to join our family starting in September 2026 to support us before and after childbirth, mainly with newborn care and household duties.

Main Duties

- Newborn care (feeding, diaper changing, bathing)

- General household work (cleaning, laundry, and simple cooking)

- Cooking: preferably someone who can cook Asian food

We will also take care of the baby ourselves at times. During those times, the helper will focus on household duties, so we are looking for someone who is flexible.

Night Duty Arrangement

During the first month after birth, both parents will be at home and will share responsibilities.

From around the second month, there may be occasional night care, shared with the mother.

Requirements

- Experience caring for newborns

- Able to communicate in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese

- Age 21–50

- Responsible, patient, reliable, and someone who genuinely likes babies

- Religion is not a concern, but you must be comfortable handling pork

Our Family

- Expecting our first baby in late September 2026

- Friendly and respectful family

- Location: Eastern District, Hong Kong Island

- 3-bedroom apartment

- No elderly family members and no pets

Home Environment

Because we will have a newborn baby, CCTV cameras are installed in the common areas of our home for safety and security. There are no cameras in private areas such as bedrooms or bathrooms.

Working Conditions

- Start date: September 2026

- Day off: Sunday (statutory holidays)

- No car washing required

- Salary: HKD 6,300 per month (HKD 5,100 basic salary + HKD 1,200 food allowance)

- Accommodation: The helper will share a spacious room with the baby. When the parents are taking care of the baby (including at night), the baby may stay in the parents' room, allowing the helper to have private time in the room.
