Looking for an experienced Elderly Caregiver and Nurse

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregiver and Nurse to provide personalised care for my 76-year-old father who has been diagnosed with dementia. We want somone who will help to create a supportive, friendly and nurturing environment that enhances his quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication as prescribed and manage health monitoring.
• Engage the client in meaningful activities to stimulate cognitive function and promote emotional well-being.
• Assist with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Prepare nutritious meals and help with dietary needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment.
• Communicate regularly with family members (in Hong Kong and overseas) and healthcare professionals regarding the client’s condition and care plan.
• Document daily activities and any changes in behavior or health.
• Will potentially be working and living with a coworker (domestic helper) who will be residing in the same accomodation. 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in elderly care, particularly with dementia patients.
• Certified nursing assistant (CNA) or nursing degree preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with calmness and professionalism.
