Assistant (Family of 3 Adults and 2 Children)

Expected started date: before July/August

We are a simple and friendly family consisting of: 2 adults, both working full-time; 2 boys, 5 years old, will go to primary school in September 2026

Main Job Responsibilities: Primary childcare duties: On weekdays, both parents are at work, so the helper will accompany our child after school and take care of him throughout the afternoon and evening. General household chores: Cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc.

Our Expectations:

Independent and proactive (Mom is very busy at work and will not give step-by-step instructions. The helper needs to plan and handle daily tasks independently.) Able to plan daily menus and cook simple, healthy meals. Patient with children, and willing to take initiative to play, read together, and assist with simple homework. Enjoys reading (Our family values reading and encourages our child to read more.) Open-minded, willing to accept feedback, friendly and stable personality, and not someone who resigns easily.

Previously, a worker signed a contract with me but later broke it suddenly because their former employers offered them a pay raise to stay. Therefore, I kindly ask applicants to think carefully before applying and contacting me, so as not to waste everyone’s time.

Break contract with employer reference check (relocation) also acceptable.

Requirements: • Age between 30 to 43 years • Work experience in the Middle East • No work experience in Hong Kong • Able to cook and prepare suitable meals for young children and family • Detail-oriented in housework and cleanliness • Willing and able to sing, play games, and assist children with homework • Must be married or have a partner and have 2-3 children (all school-age or older) • Must be willing to follow employer's guidance methods in educating and encouraging children • Willing to work and live in a busy, vibrant, happy family environment • Responsible for ensuring children follow a structured daily schedule, including school pickups/drop-offs, regular meal times, controlled playtime, and appropriate sleep arrangements to ensure timely arrival at school and excellent time management.
