Domestic Helper for Family with Three Children

We are a HK-Canadian family of 5, parents are retired/work from home and three kids (5/3/0 years old) seeking a second domestic helper to join our household.

The ideal candidate can:

• manage their own schedule
• is discreet and can respect the family's privacy
• is calm (maintain a peaceful home environment).
• Cook (Chinese/Western)
• Skilled with children of all ages

Job Responsibilities, shared with coworker:

• Child care at the first priority (assisting with routines, drop off/pick up, playdates, homework).
• housekeeping/cleaning
• grocery/market shopping
• cooking (Chinese/Western)

MUST have:

• experience with young children, and be able to confidently manage age related behaviours including respect, discipline and safety.
• Good physical health to climb stairs (our house has 4 levels).
• pleasant, quiet, and discreet personality

Living arrangements:

Spacious helper’s room with wardrobe, storage, fridge, and shared bathroom (with coworker she is staying out on the weekends)

Compensation:

• $5,000/month + food allowance
• Negotiable for candidates with proven experience (previous employer reference)
• Performance bonus: Up to one month’s salary
