Helper to lead on cleaning, laundry & play w kids @weekends

We are a family of four living in South Lantau. We live in a village house with 2 cars and a small garden. We are seeking a helper with main responsibilities as follows:

• Support in morning routine (older child ready for school, school bag packed etc)
• Follow a routine to ensure the house is tidy and keep up with the laundry.
• Play with children at weekends. Some flexibility abour rest day is preferred but can be discussed.

We have a nanny to take care of our baby and play with our older child during the day Monday – Friday so this role is 20-30% childcare and 70-80% household management.

Skills: good listening, respectful communication and good team work. Must be able to follow a routine, work together and be comfortable to ask questions when not sure.

Experience: understanding of hygiene, health and safety, and household management including stock taking, laundry + ironing (we have a detailed manual to help you), cleaning bathrooms, dusting and mopping. We bring a local gardener to take care of garden and clean both cars each week so the helper does not need to do this.

We can offer private, comfortable accommodation. We are a Western family with +15 years in Hong Kong. We have high standards and expect our helper to meet those standards – but will also reward hard work and a positive attitude. We have been let down by our last two helpers who we later found had been dishonest. We are looking for a fresh start.

Salary is to be discussed based on experience and with the possibility to discuss pay rise after good performance.

We are seeking a finished contract or terminated for financial reason / relocation.
