Looking for kind animal lover

Our household:

We are a British / New Zealand couple with no kids that relocated from Singapore earlier this year. We have two rescue pets (a medium-large mongrel dog and a rescue cat).

We are looking for someone to join us to live-in and primarily help us look after our pets and maintain the house.

We are both very relaxed and informal. We treat everyone with respect, kindness and warmth, with reasonable, fair working hours and responsibilities.

We are hoping to find someone who will be a trusted and long term member of the family.

Responsibilities:

• Pet care: walking dog, feeding, bathing, playing, grooming (both cat & dog)
• Housekeeping: general cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, ironing
• Car washing
• Grocery shopping
• Occasional cooking

Essential job requirements:

• We would like prior employer references that we can contact
• An animal lover - confident & proven experience looking after dogs and cats.
• Must genuinely love animals and be interested in bonding and spending time with them: walking, playing, caring for them with kindness and patience
• Has prior experience handling medium - large size dogs safely on a lead
• Fit & active for daily walks/ nature hikes with a medium-large dog
• Attention to detail when cleaning
• Proactively looks for cleaning / household tasks to complete without direction
