Western family looking for newborn + childcare

We are a warm and loving American family seeking an experienced and dedicated domestic helper to join our household. Our family includes two parents, a 4-year-old daughter (Dove), and a baby girl due in late July. We also have a small, friendly dog. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, hardworking, and experienced in newborn and childcare.

 

Key Responsibilities

Childcare:

• Provide attentive care for a newborn, including assisting with night feedings as needed.

• Support Dove’s daily routine, including:

• Preparing her for school.

• Dropping her off and picking her up from school.

• Taking her to extracurricular activities and playdates.

• Engage with Dove through play, reading, and educational activities to encourage her development.

 

Housekeeping:

• Perform general household cleaning and organization to maintain a tidy and safe environment.

• Handle laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing.

• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized after meal preparation.

 

Cooking:

• Plan and prepare nutritious, family-friendly meals, following dietary preferences and instructions.

 

Pet Care:

• Walk our small dog twice a day (morning and evening).

• Feed and provide general care for the dog.

 

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a domestic helper, with strong skills in childcare and newborn care.

• Childcare Skills: Demonstrated ability to care for young children, including feeding, bathing, and helping with developmental activities.

• Housekeeping: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage household tasks efficiently.

• Cooking Skills: Ability to cook healthy meals and follow recipes.

• Pet Care: Comfortable with dogs and able to manage basic pet care.

• Personality Traits: Kind, reliable, organized, and proactive in managing responsibilities.

• Availability: Willing to wake up during the night to assist with newborn care.

• Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
