Western family w/1 yo baby looking for full time helper

We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, efficient, and independent. We really value someone who does not need constant follow-ups, who can notice what is needed at home before we do, and who can help keep the house organized in a practical and thoughtful way. Privacy and discretion are also very important to us.

Our main priority is childcare. We both work from home, so we need someone who can genuinely help with our toddler’s development, routines, and day-to-day care in a proactive and reliable way, allowing us to focus on work during the day.

Apart from childcare, someone who is good with groceries and cooking is very important for us. We eat healthy and simple meals, and someone who knows Hong Kong well, including local markets and grocery shopping, would be ideal.

The rest of the household tasks are simple: keeping the home tidy and organized, making beds daily, keeping the kitchen clean, cleaning bathrooms regularly, and doing general cleaning such as vacuuming and mopping about once a week. Laundry should be done when needed, but without unnecessary stress or extra loads.

We are a simple and cost-conscious family, and we value a practical approach at home. We appreciate someone who understands how to avoid unnecessary waste or overspending and who can prioritize what is truly important.

Knowing how to swim is also a plus.
