Repulse Bay family looking for a helper

We are a warm Norwegian/Canadian family with 3 kids (ages 10 months, 4 and 6) and a very sweet dog. We are hiring a positive and efficient helper to join our household (with coworkers) in Repulse Bay. We are looking for a live-in helper to work alongside two friendly and experienced co-workers. We like to have three helpers so that nobody is overloaded!

Key responsibilities:

• Childcare: mainly taking care of our cuddly baby girl and also helping with our older two boys (a co-worker is mainly focused on the boys)- keeping the kids safe, engaged and happy! Bringing baby to the beach, playing in the pool, keeping her active at home, organizing playdates, etc.
• Household work: sharing household duties with other helpers like cleaning the home (sweeping/mopping, vacuuming), laundry, ironing, keeping the home organized.
• Pet care: sharing responsibilities with coworkers to walk our dog, feed her, groom her and play with her
• Cooking: supporting with preparing meals for the kids, feeding the kids, tidying up etc. Maybe cooking on the co-worker's day off.

All of these responsibilities are shared across coworkers. We have a clear task split in our home!

Who we're looking for:

• ✅ Loves being with young children and experienced with babies
• ✅ Responsible and proactive
• ✅ Physically able to work in a home with several floors and with active children (we prefer age <45 unless you are very fit!)
• ✅ Can work well with others (mutual respect with coworkers is the most important thing)
• ✅ Has strong spoken English
• ✅ Works efficiently (the coworkers are very competent and efficient so we need somebody who will bring a similar level of professionalism)

Other requirements:

• Has a strong reference from past employer
• Is willing to work on statutory holidays on a rotation schedule with coworkers (for extra pay), always to be discussed
• Can sometimes be flexible about which day off to take so that we can balance everybody's preferred days off; to be discussed!

Our offer:

• Stable and respectful home (and no risk of relocation :P)
• Live-in; you would share a large room with one of the co-workers
• Salary $7000/month
• Food allowance $1500/month
• Annual paid trip home
