Family Looking for Second Helper to Care For Dogs and House

We are a Chinese couple with a baby and two dogs. We grew up outside of Hong Kong and speak English natively. Our home is a house of approximately 1000 sq ft with a small garden in the New Territories along the East Rail Line. Our dogs are medium/large size (around 17kg). We employ 1 domestic helper already whose primary duties are to care for our infant baby. We are looking for an experienced helper from March 2026 to help with our household.

We prefer a helper who is currently based in Hong Kong, and can provide references from previous employer(s). We are looking for a helper who is responsible, independent, and who is experienced with caring for dogs and young children.

Your primary duty will be to care for the household and the dogs. Occasionally, you will be asked to help care for the baby as well. We are a very laid back and relaxed couple. While there may be times when we need our helper to work specific days or times, we want to trust our helper to be responsible for organising her time to complete her duties. Any free time once your tasks are completed should be for you to enjoy.

Your tasks will typically include:

• walking and feeding the dogs
• regularly cleaning the house
• doing laundry
• picking up groceries or going to market
• light gardening
• cooking or helping us when we are cooking

Some other details:

• we are flexible in terms of your rest day (some weeks Saturday, some weeks Sunday - you can coordinate with our other helper)
• we will likely offer you a food allowance
