Hong Kong Family Looking For Full Time Long Term Driver

A private family of 4 (3 are based in Hong Kong) is seeking a reliable and experienced full-time driver. The household primarily consists of two adults whose day-to-day transportation needs this role supports. The successful candidate will be trusted with the safe and comfortable transport of family members and, on occasion, guests, and is expected to conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism and discretion at all times.

Off day is presumed to be Sunday and other public holidays but can be discussed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable driving for family members for daily commutes, appointments, errands, and social engagements
• Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the family vehicle(s), including regular washing, basic upkeep, and timely reporting of any mechanical issues
• Assist with scheduling and route planning, including monitoring traffic and suggesting optimal routes
• Run errands such as grocery pick-ups, parcel deliveries, and light personal tasks as requested
• Maintain vehicle insurance, registration, and servicing records in coordination with the family/ company secretary
• Respect and maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family's personal matters and movements

Requirements

• Valid Hong Kong driving licence (Class 1 or relevant class)
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience in Hong Kong
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong roads and districts and know how to use GPS
• Honest, trustworthy, and dependable character
• Good communication skills; ability to follow instructions clearly and courteously
