HOUSEKEEPER / FAMILY ASSISTANT – PRIVATE FAMILY HOME

• Location: Setia EcoHill, Semenyih, Selangor
• Salary: RM2,000–RM3,000 gross/month, based on experience
• Position: Full-time, long-term
• Accommodation: Optional private bedroom with ensuite bathroom; meals, utilities and internet included
• Rest Day: One full rest day per week

We are a warm French family living in Setia EcoHill, Semenyih, seeking a reliable, caring and highly organized person to join our household long-term.

This is a varied role covering housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, ironing, home organization, childcare/nanny duties and family cooking. Applicants from different backgrounds are welcome.

What matters most is work quality, attention to detail, reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to take responsibility for the home.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY: HOUSEKEEPING

Your main responsibility is keeping our home consistently clean, tidy and well organized. During school hours, your focus will mainly be housekeeping.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily cleaning and housekeeping
• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
• Making beds and changing bed linen
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
• Laundry, folding and ironing
• Organizing wardrobes, cupboards and household areas
• Keeping the home tidy and well presented
• Monitoring cleaning products and household supplies
• Identifying areas needing deeper cleaning or organization
• Helping maintain efficient household routines

We want someone who can gradually take ownership of the home’s cleanliness and organization without needing instructions for every task.

Experience in hotels, resorts, serviced residences or professional housekeeping is highly valued. Room Attendants, Housekeeping Attendants, Senior Room Attendants, Housekeeping Team Leaders and Housekeeping Supervisors are encouraged to apply.

Hotel experience is NOT required. Private housekeepers, domestic helpers, cleaners and nanny-housekeepers are equally welcome.

CHILDCARE / NANNY DUTIES

We have three children. When they are at school, your main focus is housekeeping. When they are home, you may help with:

• Preparing for school and daily routines
• Before/after-school care
• Supervising and engaging with them
• Taking them to the park or activities
• Bathing, dressing and organizing belongings
• Helping a primary-school child with basic homework

You do not need to be a professional nanny, but you must enjoy children and be patient, caring and responsible.

COOKING

The role includes preparing daily family meals. You do not need to be a chef. We can provide recipes and show you how we like dishes prepared.

You should be comfortable cooking regularly, following recipes and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. Experience as a domestic cook, family cook, kitchen assistant or in food preparation is useful but not essential.
