Live-in Domestic Helper / Nanny

About Our Family

We are an active, friendly, multicultural family of four (Canadian Dad and Malaysian Mom) with two children aged 13 (girl) and 11 (boy). We travel regularly for work and leisure, including two annual trips back to Canada (during Christmas and summer, typically for 3–6 weeks each).

Key Responsibilities

-Mornings: Assist with preparing breakfast and ensuring the children are ready for school on time.

-School Hours (Housekeeping): Maintain the home with general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and general upkeep.

-Afternoons / Evenings: Assist with dinner preparation, offer occasional light homework support, and help manage evening/bedtime routines when required. Car cleaning (interior) a few days a week.

When Family Travels:

-Short Trips: House-sitting and general care/security of the home & taking care of the kids. Also accompanying the family occasionally.

-Longer Trips (Canada): Home leave opportunities for the helper while the family is away

Accommodation & Living Conditions

-Property: Spacious multi-level condominium.

-Private Helper Quarters: A dedicated private room with an attached private bathroom located on the lower floor, separate from the main family bedrooms upstairs to ensure your privacy and personal space.

Ideal Candidate Profile

-Reliable, organized, and proactive with housekeeping and meal prep.

-Cooking skills

-Comfortable around independent pre-teens and capable of providing occasional homework encouragement.

-Good communication skills in English.

-Positive attitude
