Western family looking for live-in helper

We are a French family with two young boys aged 4 and 6. We are looking for a live in helper to help with the children, cook daily meals, and manage household chores.

The children go to school on weekdays, but during school holidays you will take care of them the whole day. Being genuinely good with children is the most important part of this job. With two young boys, life can be energetic and sometimes hectic, so you must be comfortable taking care of active children.

We are looking for someone who truly loves kids. Someone patient, playful, and kind. You should enjoy playing with them, inventing games, laughing, and spending time together. You should feel confident and comfortable with yourself, as children can feel this and it helps them feel safe and calm. Laughter and play are very important in our home, and we want someone who smiles easily and brings joy and calm to the children every day.

Languages spoken at home are French, Finnish, and English. We live in a modern condominium in Desa ParkCity. We are a warm, kind, and bubbly family, and we value a positive and happy atmosphere at home.

The right person has a positive attitude, feels confident with children, and is comfortable managing busy days with two young boys.

Main responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Take care of the children before and after school and during school holidays. Breakfast, getting ready, snack time, playtime, swimming, and general supervision

•⁠ ⁠Cook daily meals for the family and handle grocery shopping

•⁠ ⁠Actively play with the children and engage with them every day. This is a key part of the job

• Keep the home clean and organized. Cleaning, laundry, ironing, and tidying

• Keep good hygiene at home

• Run small errands when needed

Important priority

The children always come first, after meals. Cleaning can wait if the children need attention, help, or emotional support.
