Household helper and assistant

Full-Time Domestic Helper & Caregiver – Family Position

We are a warm and welcoming Saudi family made up of a father, mother, and three lovely daughters aged 20 and 16. One of our daughters, Dina, is a twin and has special needs. She uses a wheelchair and experiences cognitive and motor development delays.

Dina attends school every day from approximately 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. She holds a special place in our hearts, and we are looking for someone who is kind, patient, compassionate, and trustworthy to join our family and support her daily needs.

About Dina and Her Care

Dina requires assistance with most of her daily personal care. She is not able to use the bathroom independently and cannot eat by herself, so the person caring for her will need to assist her with these activities in my absence.

After Dina returns from school, you will engage with her, provide companionship, assist her with eating and bathroom needs, and ensure she is comfortable and safe while I manage work, household responsibilities, or other commitments.

When I am present at home, we will collaborate as a team. I will also support Dina whenever possible, especially if you need to take care of household duties. You will not be expected to handle everything alone. Our goal is to uplift each other and work cohesively as a family.

Household Responsibilities

In addition to caring for Dina, the role entails general household responsibilities, including:

• Housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organized home
• Laundry and house organization
• Cooking and preparing nutritious family meals
• Baking
• Caring for our beloved cat
• Assisting with other reasonable household tasks as needed

Household duties will be shared based on the family's needs. When Dina requires your attention, her care will take priority. While she is at school or when I am available to support her, you can focus more on household tasks.

The Person We Are Looking For

We would love to find someone who is:

• Kind, patient, compassionate, and genuinely caring
• Experienced in caring for individuals with special needs
• Comfortable assisting with feeding and bathroom needs
• Responsible, trustworthy, and reliable
• Skilled in housekeeping and cooking
• Able to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage
• Familiar with basic First Aid
• Comfortable caring for a cat
• Willing to become part of our cooperative family environment

Assistance during the night is rarely required. Our main need is during the day, especially after Dina returns from school.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands the essence of teamwork. We will treat you with respect and kindness, and in return, we hope to find someone who will care for Dina with patience and affection, helping us maintain a happy, comfortable, and well-organized home.
