Nanny and Household Helper

We are a family of four looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive nanny/household assistant to join our home.

We have two children:

• A 4-year-old who attends school until 2:30 PM each weekday
• A 15-month-old who will begin nursery from January

Because the children are in school/nursery for part of the day, we are looking for someone who is equally comfortable caring for children and managing household responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare

• Providing attentive, nurturing care for our children
• Engaging them in age-appropriate play and activities
• Assisting with routines, meals, bath time, and bedtime when required
• Creating a safe, positive, and stimulating environment

Household Support

• General cleaning and housekeeping
• Laundry, ironing, and maintaining an organised home
• Preparing family meals and assisting with food preparation
• Grocery and household organisation as needed
• Helping care for our dogs, including feeding, walking and basic daily care

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience caring for young children
• Is kind, patient, energetic, and trustworthy
• Takes pride in keeping a home clean and organised
• Is confident preparing healthy family meals
• Is comfortable around dogs
• Can work independently and proactively identify what needs to be done
• Has strong references from previous employers

We want someone who genuinely enjoys being around children but also takes ownership of the household when the children are at school or nursery. We are looking for a long-term team member who will become a valued part of our family and help keep our home running smoothly.
