Job Description

We are a small family in Riyadh seeking a caring, trustworthy, experienced, and well-organized Nanny & Housekeeper to provide excellent childcare for our 2-year-old child while maintaining a clean, comfortable, and organized home.

The ideal candidate should genuinely love children, have high standards of hygiene, and be capable of independently managing daily household responsibilities.

1. Childcare Responsibilities (First Priority)

• Provide safe, loving, patient, and attentive care for our 2-year-old child.
• Supervise the child closely and ensure safety at all times.
• Engage in educational games, reading, creative activities, and age-appropriate learning.
• Encourage language development, communication, and positive behavior.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks and assist with feeding.
• Handle bathing, dressing, diaper changing, and personal hygiene.
• Maintain regular schedules for meals, naps, playtime, and bedtime.
• Keep the child's bedroom, toys, clothes, and play areas clean and organized.
• Encourage independence and good daily habits.
• No personal mobile phone use while supervising the child, except for emergencies.
• Never leave the child unattended or use physical punishment.

2. Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent daily cleanliness and organization throughout the house.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust all living areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchen surfaces.
• Wash dishes and keep the kitchen tidy.
• Handle laundry, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organization.
• Make beds and regularly change bed linens and towels.
• Organize cabinets, closets, and storage spaces.
• Assist with simple cooking and food preparation when needed.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning and maintain household hygiene.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report items that need replenishment.

3. General Expectations

• Honest, respectful, reliable, patient, and trustworthy.
• Maintain strict family privacy and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate excellent personal hygiene and a neat appearance.
• Follow household instructions and established routines.

4. Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in both childcare and housekeeping.
• Experience caring for toddlers aged 1–3 years preferred.
• Genuine affection for children and a gentle personality.
• Knowledge of child safety, hygiene, and developmental activities.
• Strong cleaning and organizational skills.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
• Childcare or first-aid training is an advantage.
• Previous employer references are preferred.

5. Employment Conditions

• Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Accommodation: Live-in, provided by the family.
• Meals: Provided.
• Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
• Working Hours & Rest Days: According to Saudi domestic worker regulations.
