British family looking for Helper

We are looking for an experienced, kind and proactive helper to join our household.

The home is mainly myself, my 6-year-old daughter, and one small sausage dog. My daughter spends her time between my home and her mother’s home. My partner also stays with us often and sometimes brings her small sausage dog, so you should be comfortable with dogs.

Main Responsibilities

1. ChildcareMy daughter takes the school bus at around 7am and comes home around 3.30pm. I usually get her ready in the morning and have breakfast with her. Your job would be to prepare her school bag, snacks, water bottle and anything else she needs for school.

After school, we would like someone friendly and sociable who enjoys spending time with children. Ideally, you can take her to the playground, help organise play dates, or take her to friends’ homes when arranged.

Sometimes I travel for work. On those occasions, you may need to help get her ready in the morning and put her to bed at night.

2. CookingCooking is very important to us. We are looking for someone who is already a strong cook and also willing to learn new recipes. We enjoy good home-cooked food and would like someone confident preparing healthy meals, family dinners and occasional meals for guests.

3. DogsWe have a very small sausage dog who needs feeding and one short walk each day. My partner also sometimes brings her small sausage dog, so you should be comfortable looking after small dogs.

4. House organisationThere will be times when I am away, my daughter is with her mother, and there is a lot of quiet time in the house. During this time, we expect the house to be very clean, organised and well-run.

We are looking for someone proactive who notices what needs to be done, gives ideas, and helps make the home better.

What You Will Have
