Canadian Family Looking for helper

We are an expat Canadian/American family of 4 (2 adults + 5 year old and 1yr old) looking for someone to help our family. We have been in Singapore for 12 years and live in a condo near orchard/River Valley. We both work full time so we value our time at home to be with our kids just us 4. Your main job is making sure our home runs smoothly and is clean. 

What we are looking for-

Transfers only with recommendation from previous employer (no agency)

Must currently be in Singapore

Most important thing to us is honesty. We need someone we can trust and who can be trusted

Communicates very well in English and able to understand instructions properly

Must love toddlers and babies

Kind and friendly demeanor

Organized and Tidy, Kitchen and bathroom cleaniness is very important to us ( Clean fridge, clean bathroom etc) 

Does not need to be micro managed and can independently manage the workings of the home

Attentive to my children- we will not take your phone but expect responsible phone usage

Can manage a quick change in plans and schedules

 

Expectations-

Cleaning-

Keeping high standards of cleanliness when cooking and cleaning

Understands food hygene ( How to cook chicken and how to store foods properly)

Dishes

Laundry/ironing (mostly machine wash, but can sometimes hand wash baby clothes)

Vacuuming/Sweeping/mopping etc

Dusting

Cleaning bathrooms

Being accountable for cleaning out the fridge and tossing out old food from the fridge

 

Kids-

Taking care of our 5 year old mainly pick ups, drop offs and attending helper led play dates

Looking after my 1 year old while me and my husband are at work. He will attend school full time soon.

 

Cooking-

Strong cooking skills

Mainly western meals (being able to follow a recipe from Pinterest, TikTok or Youtube)

Sometimes we might ask for Caribbean/ Asian meals that require following a recipe

 

Marketing and Hosting-

I host friends from time to time, will need your help cooking, prepping, making sure to say hi to guests, offering them water etc

Small errands maybe needed here and there  

Marketing for fresh groceries from NTUC (most groceries are ordered)

Offerings in your role-

600-800 salary per month

All Sundays and  PH  off. From time to time we might request help on PH's, we will notify ahead of time

1 trip home per year

Budget for food will be given

Wifi given

Helper’s quarters with own bathroom

A kind working environment, we are pretty understanding about most situations

Once integrated into our family we can discuss bonuses etc
