Chinese family(1 adult 1 kid) looking for helper

1. Emotional Support & Behaviour Guidance

• Spend quality time with my son and build a trusting relationship
• Help him manage emotions (especially anger) in a calm and patient way
• Use positive communication, not shouting or punishment
• Recognise triggers and gently redirect his behaviour

2. Play & Engagement

• Play with him daily (games, creative activities, outdoor time)
• Encourage healthy, active, and fun interactions
• Reduce screen time by engaging him in meaningful activities

3. Learning & Tutoring Support

• Assist with homework and basic studies
• Help him stay focused and motivated
• Use simple and encouraging teaching methods (not strict or stressful)

4. Routine & Structure

• Help maintain a stable daily routine
• Support with mealtime, bedtime, and transitions
• Provide a sense of safety and consistency

5. Communication with Employer

• Update me on his mood, behaviour, and progress
• Work closely with me to improve his emotional wellbeing

Personality Requirements

• Very patient and emotionally stable
• Gentle, caring, and not easily frustrated
• Experience with children (bonus if experience with special needs or behavioural challenges)
• Positive, encouraging, and proactive

Work Structure

• Main focus: childcare and emotional support
• Secondary: light household help if needed
• Will work alongside existing helper (who handles cleaning and household tasks)
