Chinese family looking for a diligent and experienced helper

We are a warm and respectful family living in a large 4-bedroom condo, similar in size and workload to a landed house. Our household has two adults and two young children.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and professional helper who has worked with local families, preferably in a similar-sized or larger household with children and a busy schedule.

Main responsibilities include:

• Cooking family meals, with willingness to learn new recipes and improve cooking skills

• Thorough housekeeping and regular deep cleaning, not just basic surface cleaning

• Laundry, ironing, wardrobe and household organisation

• Childcare support, including school pick-up/drop-off, enrichment classes, playdates, supervising play and following the children’s daily schedule

• Grocery shopping / marketing, including preparing shopping lists based on planned meals and household needs

• Car washing

• Basic gardening and outdoor area upkeep

• Travelling with the family to help mind the children if needed

We are willing to pay a higher salary and provide good performance bonus for the right helper. We are looking for someone with:

• Stable work history, preferably at least 4–6 years with one family

• Strong reference from previous or current employer

• Experience managing a busy household with children

• Diligence, honesty and reliability

• Positive “can-do” attitude

• Willingness to follow a schedule and employer instructions

• Initiative to notice problems, solve them, and improve over time

• Consistent work quality, even when the day is busy or routine changes

• Respectful communication and good attitude when receiving feedback

We do not expect perfection. However, we need someone who takes pride in her work, tries her best consistently, and becomes more reliable as she understands our family better.

We prefer not to consider candidates who frequently change employers or have multiple broken contracts, unless there are genuine reasons beyond the helper’s control.
