Hi!
I am helping my sister in law look for a suitable helper to join her family and sharing the job scope here so that those who are interested can consider if her family is right for you - As we believe nowadays hiring help is not just about employer choosing helper, but also helper choosing employers because end of the day, only if both sides are happy, then can we create a happy and lasting employment 😁
Little bit of background :
Her family has 2 condo units side by side
Unit 1 is occupied by her family (Sir, Maam + 3 kids between 5-8years old & 1 helper)
Unit 2 is occupied her Father, partner and their pets (Dog and birds I think 😂)
Helper will be staying in Unit 2 and main duties are cooking, housework and pet care, but also need to go over to unit 1 to help out with the kids (so must know how to entertain them hahaha - if keen then I’ll share more)
Day usually starts at 6.30AM and end around 9.30PM +-
Off day twice a month (alternate Sundays) - After walk dog can go out and home by 7PM
Salary up to $1000 depending on attitude, performance and experience
Allowed to have Handphone (but please don’t use during work time) and WIFI will be provided
Own room
Would love someone who is smiley, bubbly, have initiative, pleasant and polite :)
Cooking well is a must for them and able to plan meals
Ok to work with another helper (don’t stay in the same house) but will spend quite a lot of time together.
If you think what was mentioned above is something you are comfortable with and would like to arrange an interview, please let me know! We will be happy to do the interview over video call 😁
Thank you for taking the time to read and while I’m sure most would like to secure a new employer soon, please don’t jump into agreeing then end up not feeling happy with the family in the end, because it’s something that you were not comfortable with.
As we all know, different expectations (not just employer to helper but helper to employer too!) causes a lot of problems and neither of us want to be in that situation. So even if it’s not this job, please always think about it!
So that’s also why I tried to list out the important points for my SIL’s expectations so that anyone reading this can have a good think :)
Looking forward to hear from you soon!
