Domestic Helper - Cooking & Child Care

We are a Western family of four living in Newton, Singapore, looking for a Christian Filipino domestic helper to join our household.

We have two children who are in school during the day, and you will be working alongside an existing helper who already helps look after our home and children.

Main responsibilities

• Cooking meals for the family, particularly breakfast and dinner
• Grocery shopping and managing kitchen supplies
• General household cleaning and upkeep
• Laundry and ironing
• Helping with the children when needed, particularly in the mornings and afternoons
• Occasionally accompanying the children to classes, playdates or activities

As the children are at school during the day, the main support we need is in the mornings before school and in the afternoons after school.

What we’re looking for

• A Christian Filipino helper
• Someone who genuinely enjoys cooking and is comfortable following recipes
• A self-starter who can take initiative and work independently
• Reliable, organised and responsible
• Comfortable working alongside another helper and sharing household responsibilities
• Warm and caring towards children
• Previous experience working in a family household is preferred
• No tattoos
